Representatives from Environmental Spirit for General Contracting Company (ESPCO) and BGE recently met at ESPCO’s headquarters in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

From ESPCO, the attendees included Eng. Abdullah Obeidat, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Ahmed Al-Muraj, General Manager; and Eng. Tamer Obeidat, Construction Manager. Representing BGE were Mr. Huang Xia, Deputy General Manager of the Environment Sector; Ms. Liu Meiying, Senior Procurement Manager for the Mining & Environment Sector; and Mr. Xia Tian, Purchasing Manager of the Environment Sector.

The core of the meeting centered on exploring opportunities for cooperation in designing and constructing engineered landfills, along with landfill closure and rehabilitation projects. A special emphasis was placed on tapping into joint ventures across the Gulf region and the broader Middle East.

The discussions were constructive and promising, fostering a meaningful exchange of expertise and viewpoints. This meeting set the stage for what both parties hope will be a successful and mutually beneficial partnership on future initiatives, God willing.
